IT - Administrators (m/f/d) VMWare in the Client and Service Management team
for the department 10.60 - Information and Technology Services.
These are permanent full-time positions. Severely disabled persons will be given preference if equally qualified. Applications from women are particularly welcome.
Remuneration is based on suitability and qualifications in accordance with the provisions of the TVöD. Please state your salary expectations.
Tasks
* IT administration - in the district building and its locations
* Collaboration and implementation of IT projects of the district building and external locations
* Ensuring ongoing client operation and support
* Preparing and testing software applications on the VDI platform (VMWare Horizon/Omnissa)
* Installation of end devices and peripherals
* Securing information through professional and technical documentation
* Implementing technological developments and innovations
We expect
* Training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration
* At least 3 years of professional experience as an IT system administrator (m/f/d)
* Knowledge in the field of virtualization based on VMWare Horizon/Omnissa
* Knowledge in the areas of software installation and deployment
* Experience in the administration of Active Directory services
* Proven experience in first and second level support
* High degree of conceptual and systematic approach
* Experience in IT project management is an advantage
* Ability to work under pressure and service-oriented
* Very good knowledge of German (written and spoken) comparable to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Driving license class B, as well as the willingness to use your own car for business trips
