As a bank support worker, you will work flexible hours, covering shifts when needed at different locations throughout London. Key Responsibilities: Provide emotional and practical support to children, young people, and adults with mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, and those experiencing homelessness. Help clients develop life skills, promote independence, and facilitate access to necessary services, such as healthcare and housing. Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the well-being of all clients. Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers, healthcare staff, and housing teams, to deliver holistic care. Monitor and record the progress of clients, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Essential Requirements: Experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and adults in mental health, substance misuse, or homelessness services. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nights across different locations in London. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people. Desirable: Relevant qualifications in health and social care, psychology, or a related field. Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
