Our award-winning boarding house is currently inviting applications for the role of: Boarding House Supervisor The Role The Boarding House Supervisors provide quality pastoral care and support as well as appropriate supervision in the general routine of boarding students. As members of the Boarding staff team, the Boarding House Supervisors play an important role in creating a positive, supportive and open culture which encourages full participation in the academic and extra-curricular programs within the School and the Boarding community. The role has a strong pastoral care focus as the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the boarders in an assigned year level with their day to day needs whilst they are residing away from home. You will also play an important role with supporting the academic needs of the boarders to encourage success with their studies. Whilst you may choose to live onsite this is not a requirement of the role. It is, however, a requirement to do multiple sleepover shifts as rostered weekly. Hours will be allocated on a roster system across 7 days of the week. The majority of shifts are of an evening. This is a full-time role. The successful candidate The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to creating a home away from home for our boarders and be able to demonstrate: Experience working with children and teenagers The ability to confidently be able to balance being caring and supportive with the need for consistency and structure.
