We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of staff at Wheelock Primary School. The position will primarily be supporting a child on a 1 to 1 basis, but will also involve other 1 to 1 and small group work both inside and outside the classroom, as directed by the class teacher. The position is offered on a temporary basis, and the contract will be linked to the child’s attendance at the school and will be terminated if they were to leave. Experience of working with children with SEND would be an advantage. A nurturing and inclusive approach is essential. You will be expected to be well organised and flexible with high expectations of attainment, achievement and behaviour and have a drive to make a difference to the education of all pupils. You will have excellent communication skills and evidence of continued professional development.
