Job Description South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking to appoint to the permanent post of Senior Manager Business Support following the retirement of the interim post holder. This is a relatively new post for South Ayrshire HSCP which brings together the management and leadership of business support staff from both the NHS and South Ayrshire Council. The post holder will have both strategic and operational responsibility for the business support function within the partnership which fulfils a critical role in the delivery of health and care services to citizens in South Ayrshire. The role includes responsibility for the general management of NHS premises occupied by the partnership. Health and safety within these premises also forms part of the remit of the post. The post holder is a member of the Directorate Management Team and reports directly to the Director of Health and Social Care. A review of the local authority elements of the role has recently concluded and additional investment to support the team has been agreed which it is intended will enhance the contribution of the service to operational delivery. For NHS terms and conditions, the Grade of this post is Band 8b with an annual salary from £70,986 to £75,937; this is a full-time permanent position based on a 36.5-hour working week. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
