About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Leader to spearhead client acquisition and business expansion in the innovation consulting sector. This position is ideal for someone with a solid B2B sales background, who understands the role of marketing in supporting sales growth, and who is comfortable working in a hands-on, proactive environment.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with practical experience, able to drive both sales and marketing initiatives, and work collaboratively to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities (Prior Experience Essential)
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
2. Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives (one-to-one, one-to-few, one-to-many) to support sales efforts.
3. Align sales and marketing activities to optimise the sales cycle and improve conversion rates.
4. Own and optimise the sales funnel, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth flow of prospects.
5. Collaborate with internal teams (business, operations, and delivery) to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities (Previous Experience Preferred)
1. Design and run multichannel demand generation campaigns (LinkedIn, email, events, webinars, podcasts, etc.).
2. Utilise data intelligence and marketing automation tools to personalise outreach and optimise engagement (HubSpot, Marketo, Demandbase, etc.).
3. Strengthen brand positioning to enhance authority and recognition within the innovation consulting market.
4. Contribute to long-term business development through identifying new opportunities and emerging trends.
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in professional services, consulting or startup.
2. Solid background in demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and strategic account management.
3. Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Demandbase).
4. A data-driven mindset, with the ability to turn insights into actionable sales strategies.
5. Experience in designing and executing both outbound and inbound sales campaigns.
6. Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.
7. Understanding of complex sales cycles and the ability to engage senior executives.
8. A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields (postgraduate qualifications or corporate experience are a plus).
