Burger King Assistant Manager
Department: Restaurants & QSR
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Skegness
Reporting To: Sarah-Louise Ashley
Description
About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to work in our Burger King Restaurant.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while keeping operational standards and guest experience high.
You will support and coach the team to ensure they deliver a great experience and are also driving key targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
This is an operational guest-facing role; therefore, all non-guest facing tasks and activities will be allocated time within your working week to allow you to spend the majority of your time within your venue and with our guests.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. Working on our fantastic adult breaks means some shifts will go late into the night, meaning 4 am finishes are involved.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same, and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an experienced leader with a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience from within an F&B environment who can support the team to deliver fantastic service to the Burger King standard. Putting the guests first in everything you do, you will have experience in training and coaching the team, delivering both Butlins and Burger King operations in a fun-filled environment to provide an excellent experience.
You should have previous experience in leading within a busy restaurant where a balance of speed and quality is important.
You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.
The ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during high demand periods, is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
