You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, stoma care, and so much more We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. The client is a 64-year-old male who has a spinal cord injury, you will be managing his medication administration; assisting him with appointments, providing catheter care and bowel management with his care and light domestic duties. He lives in a very welcoming and supportive home with his family, where they have adapted their family home to cater for his needs. Qualifications What you’ll need You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care.
