We are seeking to recruit a number of Multi-skilled Maintenance contractors to support our plant with a key project.
You will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our wide range of production machinery that will require you to hold good multi skilled abilities.
Linked to your multi skilled abilities you must also hold some exposure to supporting Plc controls and robotic applications and ideally have undertaken three phase installation work.
Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must hold formal qualifications electrically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, having gained your maintenance experience within a fast moving manufacturing or production environment.
In return for your skills and experience we offer a negotiable hourly rate and ongoing work for up to six months.
*Please note that as this project falls inside IR35, we will have to pay you via a FCSA accredited Umbrella.
Commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Kings Norton, Rowley Regis, Walsall & Wolverhampton.

* There is overtime on offer but paid at the normal rate
Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Contractor
* Perform panel layout, assemble components into panel.
* Read, interpret and work from schematic / engineering drawings / instructions from engineers.
* Site based installations and Panel modifications.
* Undertaking all relevant tasks along with general housekeeping duties.
* Occasional site visits for trouble shooting, repairs or installation.
* Machine wiring experience advantageous.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven background in undertaking Electrical Installation work (single & three phase) within a manufacturing, process or production environment.
* Ideally have experience of undertaking statutory maintenance checks on Infrastructure, Fire Suppression Systems and Sub Stations.
* Experience of supporting a wide range of internal lighting and power (Ideally both LV & HV).
* Qualified Electrically to City & Guilds or NVQ level 3.
* If you have undertaken a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship and / or hold JIB or AM2 accreditation it will be at an advantage.
