Part Time Payroll – Permanent - Telford
L & C Consulting are recruiting for a new, permanent, Part Time Payroll Assistant in Telford for a well-established, manufacturing concern. Based in a small, friendly team, the role will suit an experienced Payroll Assistant, who is also happy supporting HR with basic admin duties.
The ideal applicant will be looking for 15 - 22 hours per week across 3 days (Mon – Wed).
The duties within this role include (but not be limited to):
* Processing high volumes of weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs
* Holiday entitlements
* Distribution of payslips to all staff
* Calculating wages, bonuses, salary increases and overtime
* Calculating statutory payments including SSP, Maternity Pay, Paternity pay etc
* Issuing tax forms (P45s, P11D etc)
* Deal with payroll queries
* Updating new starter and leaver details
* Supporting HR with admin duties, including recording holidays, updating personnel files etc
* Sage Payroll
* Ad hoc duties as required
Applicants will have a mature approach, have excellent communication skills – written and verbal, a professional manner, be efficient, methodical, persistent, confident and be able to work to very high levels of accuracy.
You MUST have a stable work history and have worked in a similar role to be considered for this role.
The site is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Perton, Shifnal, Bridgnorth and Market Drayton etc
