Service Manager – Mental Health
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 per annum
TRC is working with a young and ambitious company that, within its first 2 years of operating, has positively impacted the lives of 16+ adults with Autism, mental health, and learning disabilities living in their own homes.
They are continuing the excellent work with a client based in Bristol. We are searching for an organised individual with excellent knowledge of all of the above conditions and great people skills. You would be responsible for 1 person's package of care.
This is a work-from-home position.
The Role:
1. Recruitment, retention, and engagement of your staff team(s).
2. Leading the continuous professional development of your teams.
3. Undertaking regular quality supervisions, appraisals, debriefs, and team meetings.
4. Conducting regular staff observations (positive monitoring) and competency assessments, managing staffing matters, including performance and capability in accordance with the company.
5. Implementing HR policies and advised processes.
6. Managing rotas and time sheets for the service in line with the procedure.
7. Identifying and developing talent for succession planning.
8. Undertaking senior support worker, team leader, and support worker duties where applicable.
9. Covering shifts where there is a shortfall within the rota and no cover can be found.
10. Being part of the company's call system outside of normal operating hours.
11. Liaising with the responsible housing provider for repairs and maintenance.
12. Leading on health and safety responsibilities as determined by the partnership with the housing provider (e.g., fire alarm checks).
