Medical Malpractice Broker
As a specialised Medical Malpractice, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, products liability and Clinical Trial insurance intermediary, we are seeking a highly driven medical malpractice broker with 2+ years’ experience to assist with growing our UK and international healthcare book of business.
Key responsibilities/tasks
* Develop new business with new and existing regional brokers by placing business into various Lloyd’s of London facilities set up by the company.
* Leverage existing insurer relationships in placement of risks.
* Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
* Follow, build and cultivate prospective relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communication with new and existing partners globally.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical malpractice, professional indemnity & liability insurance including wordings, clauses and endorsement specifics.
* Lloyd’s of London experience would be ideal, although not compulsory.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed risk placement targets.
* A proven track record of strong insurer relationships.
* Business development skills would be advantageous.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
* Experience with using main-stream insurance CRMs.
* Leverage existing relationships to contribute to the company and its future advancements.
* Ability to follow up leads to build the prospect pipeline.
