Mellors Care are delighted to be supported by our client, a successful supported living provider, in their search for a commissioning registered manager for their brand new service in Wellingborough.
The service is comprised of 20 self-contained flats, and offers independent living for service users with acquired brain injuries and complex mental health conditions.
The role will involve supporting the provider to increase occupancy by working closely with the Local Authority, and promoting the service within the community. Other responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a team of specialist support workers and ensuring they have access to training and development opportunities
2. Quality and compliance audits
3. Working closely with service users and family members to ensure that a personalised service is given to each
4. Managing the staff rota to ensure the service is always safely staffed
5. Completing off-site assessments
6. Monitoring weekly, monthly and quarterly budgets
The successful candidate will have experience in a managerial position within health and social care and hold their NVQ level 5 in HSC leadership and management. Experience working with acquired brain injuries is desirable.
