Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Structural Engineer you will join our team in Bristol to support our activities within the Energy Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Develop and assess reinforced concrete structures (RCC) for EPR nuclear power plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Carry out structural analysis and Finite Element modeling (FEM and FEA) using tools like ANSYS APDL, adhering to Eurocode, ETC-C, and other regulations.
* Guarantee structural stability under various conditions, including seismic activity, dynamic forces, construction sequences, and environmental impacts.
* Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for implementation.
* Evaluate the structural impact of design modifications and recommend appropriate adjustments.
Who are we looking for?
* Experience with Structural Civil Work, RC detailing, steel structures (ETT-C, Eurocodes, or similar)
* Proficiency in ANSYS, SAP2000, APDL, Robot, or similar tools
* Understanding of Nuclear safety regulations & seismic analysis
* Experience working on large infrastructure projects.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or related fields.
* Experience using ANSYS APDL
