Position Overview:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in Adult Inpatient services, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adults with diverse mental health needs. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting psychiatric assessments and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
* Providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to adult inpatients.
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and therapists.
* Participating in clinical reviews, case conferences, and team meetings.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
* CCT or equivalent in Psychiatry.
* Substantial experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Adult Inpatient services.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
