The Role
We are seeking to employ enthusiastic and committed individuals to support the school’s Business Support Team during examination and assessment periods throughout the school year.
Successful candidates would need to be available throughout the majority of May and June each year to support the main period of GCSE examinations, as well as during periods of mock examinations in November, December, and March each year.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that candidates sit examinations in the correct conditions, ensuring the integrity and smooth running of internal and public examinations. Training will be provided for all successful candidates, and previous experience of invigilation, while beneficial, is not essential.
You will be joining the Academy at a very exciting point along its journey to excellence. In March 2022, the school was judged to be ‘Good’ for the second consecutive time by Ofsted, and we have been oversubscribed for the last two years.
In this report, Ofsted highlighted the following about our school:
1. Pupils said that Halewood Academy is a caring community.
2. Leaders have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and learning.
3. Pupils achieve well, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
