Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian to join our team of 17 Dietetic staff at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site, part of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 1.0 WTE position based at the PRUH. The post holder will work alongside the Band 7 Gastro-Oncology Dietitian to provide an evidence-based dietetic service for both adult inpatients and outpatients within gastroenterology, covering conditions such as IBD, liver disease and pancreatitis. The post holder will be responsible for two outpatient clinics each week and will work as part of our team of acute adult dietitians, providing excellent dietetic care. There is also the option to join the clinical cover within the Nutrition Team and within Critical Care. The successful post holder will work closely with all members of the MDT to provide a proficient Nutrition and Dietetic service to our patients. You will play an integral role in the large, supportive dietetic team at KCH. Our Nutrition and Dietetics department expects all staff to be involved in the teaching of other healthcare professionals, in line with our mission to provide excellence in clinical care, research and teaching in King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. The department is dedicated to student dietetic training and accepts students on placements 1, 2 and 3. This post would be expected to be involved in the training programmes.
