We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to work in the GB Materials Division of the Group, based in Breedon (Hybrid, at least 2 days a week at Head Office / Breedon Site).
You will provide critical financial support to a number of areas within the Aggregates, Asphalt & Concrete Region of GB Materials - This involves quarries, asphalt plants and concrete plants.
Key Responsibilities
* Participation in Health & Safety awareness and support across the sites.
* Assist in preparation of monthly Management Accounts and reports.
* Assist in preparation of forecasting and annual budgeting process.
* Assist in annual stock revaluation.
* Key point of contact to provide finance support to commercial, sales and operational staff.
* Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to senior management and key stakeholders.
* Provide financial models, scenario analysis and investment appraisal for CAPEX projects.
* Review and monitor CAPEX spend, ensuring accurate reporting and process control.
* Lead discussions around business performance, budget reviews and cost management in a variety of meetings, ensuring financial objectives align with overall business strategy.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities within the business.
* Monitor and challenge costs within operations & finance function to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
* Act as a trusted advisor to area operations, providing value add financial reports & analysis to support area performance.
* Support the Financial Controller and Senior Finance Business Partner with analysis and insight for key decision making.
* Support and develop KPI reporting for internal and external requirements.
* Support CI manager in process improvement to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
* Provide information and evidence for audit .
* Other ad-hoc projects / duties as required
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
* Strong excel skills
* Full UK driving licence, as need to be willing to travel across Breedon sites (mostly Central England & North Wales but occasional travel to any GB Breedon site may be required)
