Role Overview
Cpl UK - Healthcare is recruiting a Senior Residential Care Leader to lead and manage a dedicated care team in one of our children's homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and other regulatory requirements.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and mentor staff, ensuring the team is well-supported and motivated to provide outstanding care.
* Care Delivery: Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the emotional, educational, and social needs of the children are met.
* Safeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding procedures are adhered to and that the home meets all health and safety standards.
* Collaboration: Build strong relationships with external partners, including social workers, schools, and healthcare professionals, to deliver the best outcomes for each child.
* Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the home.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Residential Manager in a children's home or a similar care environment.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
* Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding regulations.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
