We are seeking a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in the nursery of a mainstream primary school in Bradford from April to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in the early learning journey of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the early years team in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
2. Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
3. Help develop children's social, communication, and motor skills
4. Provide one-to-one and small group support to children who need additional help
5. Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
6. Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and personal care where necessary
7. Encourage independence and confidence in young learners
Requirements:
1. Experience working in an early years or nursery setting (preferred)
2. Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
3. A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
