The Role VeryConnect is seeking an experienced JavaScript developer who is responsible for release scheduling and management, build out larger features with a preference for either frontend or backend (with the ability to do both), planning requirements, guiding best practices, develop processes and upskilling Junior Developers. Knowledge of cybersecurity and information privacy design are also advantageous. For this role you will be responsible for leading on specific feature development with hands on programming, guiding best practice within the team and requirements analysis, which may include database design, product integration, product insight and tracking key account metrics as well as reporting, managing and resolving issues with the wider dev team. Key aspects of your role You will upskill yourself on all aspects of our membership management platform where you will become an in-house expert on the platform capabilities and be responsible for reviewing the code of others Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process where applicable You will lead feature development within our software to meet the requirements of our international customers As a fast moving, scaling tech startup, you will enjoy the opportunity for your tasks to evolve About you You’re a highly-talented full-stack developer who wants to work with a truly innovative, expertly-coded platform while working alongside some great developers (first class compsci degrees, past interns at NASA, PhDs in compsci, etc). We want to hear from you if you: Love (or are excited to learn) the latest web technologies (Typescript, Mongodb, Docker) with a front end of the latest Angular version, Bootstrap, tying into services like Stripe and email service providers Possess a methodical and process-oriented mindset Have a good graduate degree from a reputable university Can adapt to business requirements, working hard to deliver results.
