Conference Planner Contract/Temp Likely to go perm - ASAP start £15 per hour 2-3 days in the office, Surrey Full time hours My client a global tech management consultancy is seeking an experienced Conference Planner. You will plan and execute the creative and operational aspects of conferences with a focus on the development and creation of exceptional onsite attendee journeys through the production of all onsite event builds, digital platforms, signage and branding across in-person events. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the creative journey for the company's external and internal (corporate) events with a focus on impactful attendee (delegate, sponsors, and associates) journeys across the global portfolio through build and branding elements, and digital platforms. Management of operational process, and project management through planning process and execution at internal and external client events both in-person and virtual. Project manage the planning and implementation of signage, build, branding, furniture and finishing/accessory requirements for selected events in collaboration with the wider conferences team. Support the Digital Experience program globally, aiding in the design and creation of digital signage assets, strategically integrating digital platforms into our attendee journey, and overseeing implementation of program at select conferences. Assist with the creation and implementation of operational processes and project management playbooks to maximize the impact of the role and team across all regions and portfolios. Creative, innovative, and proactive approach to all aspects of the role – constantly seeking to exceed previous experiences and increase the effectiveness of all processes. Collaboration with Business Units to strategically advise and support their event objectives throughout the planning process - culminating with the conference experience. Build excellent relationships with the vendor partners. Effective financial management and predictability including budget creation, cost negotiation and accurate forecasting; highlight risks, recommendations for allocation of funds and management of a production planning calendar. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred 1-3 Years Event Management, Branding and/or Experiential & Event Marketing Experience Proven creative and operational management responsibility in a team setting Proven event operational and project management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload Management of multiple agency and vendor partners Experience in creation of event spaces/environments/floor plans Proven and exceptional project management skills, effective management of time and prioritization Creative, innovative, strategic High attention to detail Financial management skills Client focused, solution oriented and collaborative High sense of urgency, decisiveness, attention to detail and confidentiality Fully competent in Microsoft office and Google Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and similar in G-Suite Strong oral & written communication skills Apply today for a January start
