Pharmacy Technician – Higher Level – Vaccine & Distribution Services
Band 5 (£30,229-£37,664)
Full time – 37 hours
Responsible for the management of processes associated with the receipt and dispatch of Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines, including controlled drugs which must be processed in accordance with the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Play a leading role in the provision of a pharmacy service involving storage and distribution of medicines, including vaccines and controlled drugs in associated facilities throughout NHS Grampian.
Responsible for managing medicine stock within NHS Grampian, to ensure safe and cost effective medicine use. To manage and resolve medicine issues within the service.
Applications are invited from registered technicians with relevant post qualification experience. A dispensary checking technician qualification is required and if not already held, must be undertaken.
Must be able to participate in weekend and public holiday rota.
