Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and supply chain management? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Procurement to lead our clients' procurement team and drive their sourcing strategies.

This is a newly created role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, managing a team of 7 buyers and focused on creating and delivering a procurement strategy that supports the company's ambitious growth plans over the next three to five years. There will be a requirement to implement and develop best-in-class processes and systems, coach and develop the team and lead on all key supplier activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry.
• Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities with the key suppliers in the UK, Far East, India and Eastern Europe.
• Manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiently and effectively.
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and compliant procurement process.
•Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
• Negotiate major procurement contracts to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
Experience Required:
• Proven experience as a Head of Procurement or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and supply management principles, procedures, and techniques.
• Experience of leading SRM activities with overseas suppliers and an understanding of cultural nuances.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
