The Stock Operative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the storage, handling, and distribution of stock within our facility. Key Responsibilities Receiving Receive incoming stock shipments, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders. Accurately label and store items in designated locations according to established procedures. Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained for all products Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy. Identify and report discrepancies in inventory levels. Assist in implementing inventory management systems and procedures. General Warehouse Duties: Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Qualifications and Skills Experience in a warehouse or distribution center Good organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management systems.
