About the role
We’re making some exciting changes to the HR Division at NFU Mutual. This brand-new Talent and Leadership Development Manager role will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we’re firmly future-focused and meeting the needs of the business.
In collaboration with senior leaders across the HR Division, the Talent and Leadership Development Manager role is pivotal in designing and executing strategies for Talent and Leadership Development, leading the delivery of frameworks aligned to organisational strategy and divisional People Plans.
You will oversee a team of subject matter experts in Talent and Leadership and lead on the design and delivery of enterprise-wide frameworks, processes, and resources that operationalise strategy to effectively attract, onboard, develop, engage, deploy, and retain high-performing employees, while providing analytics and data-driven insights to continuously improve these initiatives.
Key to successful delivery in this role will be driving enterprise-wide adoption of the strategy and frameworks, leading the team to provide consultancy and strategic support to business partners, guiding them into effectively embedding talent and leadership frameworks.

A strategic leader who thrives on collaboration and influence, you’ll confidently work with senior stakeholders to define, align, and deliver talent strategies with business objectives. You’ll drive change and lead initiatives that foster growth and development across the organisation.
To join our team, you’ll also have:
* Proven experience in a leadership and/or talent development capacity
* Experience of leading a team of subject matter experts
* Proven experience in overseeing the end-to-end Talent Management cycle in a large complex corporate organisation
* Expertise in strategic planning and management of Talent and Leadership development programmes
* In-depth knowledge of leadership development principles and best practices
* Proven track record of managing and enhancing performance management frameworks
* Demonstrable experience in managing Executive coaching programs
* Agility and adaptability to respond to emerging business needs
* Expertise in using data-driven insights for strategic talent planning and development
* Strong facilitation and presentation skills
* CIPD qualification at level 5 or higher or equivalent
