This role is ideal for a proactive and multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a background in manufacturing or processing industries, within a heavy engineering environment. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving, follow safety protocols, and effectively communicate with team members. They should be committed to continuous improvement and high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform effective mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery.
2. Ensure machinery meets departmental requirements and conduct necessary checks.
3. Operate machinery and equipment safely, maximizing productivity.
4. Communicate stock requirements and compile relevant maintenance reports.
5. Participate in shift briefings and liaise with the production team for continuous improvement.
