We are now recruiting for a Band 5/6 Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) to join a well-established NHS trust based in Preston, Lancashire on a locum contract. The role is available to start ASAP, working full-time hours for a 3-month period until 21/12/2025. This role offers competitive rates. The successful Practitioner will be working on an Older Adult Mental Health Service, to manage caseload for Older Adults with varying mental health issues, co-morbidities and complex presentations. Carrying out assessments, reviews, interventions and completing discharges alongside relevant documentations to support. Proficient in use of RiO documentations. Administering Depot injections. Completing multi-disciplinary reviews in the community and inpatients on Mental Health Act sections. Liaising with relevant members of the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies to support patient care. Skills and experience needed: Managing a caseload RMN Offer clinical treatment work and consultation Experience with a wide range of mental health presentations Can work well independently and as part of the team What next?
