Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Team Manager to lead our Adult Community Eating Disorder (ACED) Service across Oxfordshire. This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within a forward-thinking and collaborative team.
As Clinical Team Manager, you will hold overarching clinical and operational responsibility for the ACED service. You will provide strong leadership in the ongoing development of the service in line with the Oxfordshire Community Mental Health Framework, promoting early intervention and integrated community-based care.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the Oxon Service Manager and Head of Service, playing a key role in transformation projects, interagency partnerships, and pathway integration. A central part of your role will involve supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering person-centred, safe, and effective treatment.
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Lead will be:
* Lead, support, and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring clinical excellence and operational effectiveness
* Coordinate service delivery in line with Trust and national policy, including NHS Long Term Plan priorities
* Drive service development projects and quality improvement initiatives
* Develop and maintain robust partnerships across internal and external stakeholders, including GPs, CAMHS, AMHTs, and the Voluntary and Community Sector
* Ensure a high standard of clinical governance, risk management, and performance monitoring

Knowledge Requirements
* Professional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma
* Understanding of the legal and social policy issues influencing the work environment
* Knowledge of eating disorder services
* Knowledge of latest healthcare policy e.g. NHS Long Term Plan
* Profession Health or Social Care Qualification
* Current professional registration with appropriate professional body e.g. NMC, HCPC
* Post qualification Management or leadership qualification and/or willingness to work toward this
Experience
* Highly extensive experience in a mental health setting, working with adults or young people with mental illness and/or learning disabilities
* Experience of leading a development or change within a service setting
* Post qualification experience in a mental health setting, or Eating Disorder setting (Inpatient or Community)
* Understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to demonstrate how this influences clinical practice
* Experience of Management supervision and case management in a clinical setting
* Experience of audit process at service level and contribute to wider Trust audit
* Experience of developing practice (nursing, social work, occupational therapy, psychological therapies)
