We make health happen The role An exciting time to join a passionate team, where you’ll design and deliver internal communications campaigns to engage our people in Bupa’s purpose, strategy and values with a focus on driving progress against the strategic priorities for our Health Services business unit. You’ll be the lead contact for people, change and strategy communications to drive pride, engagement and customer focus. How you’ll help us make health happen You’ll develop an internal communications strategy that explains the Health Services strategy and transformation story to our employees, gaining senior buy-in and ensuring alignment with Market Unit and Group communications plans. Develop and maintain an internal communications plan incorporating a prioritised list of activities, ensuring delivery of all key messages and support for business objectives, and a coherent Health Services narrative. Provide strategic advice and counsel to the General Manager, Health Services and the Health Services Executive Team and other key senior stakeholders on internal communications. Support for corporate news communications including leadership, M&A, financial results and strategic programmes. Plan and deliver internal events for leaders and all employees, and the Health Services Executive Team’s visibility plan. Build on and manage existing internal communication channels (Workvivo – digital comms channel, email, newsletter, Teams calls) and explore new communications channels that respond to feedback and drive engagement across our operational & clinical frontline teams. Listen to and understand what matters to our people, measuring the effectiveness of our communications and internal campaigns. Manage external suppliers and agencies as needed to provide design, editorial, production or distribution services to make sure that the work provided is of the right standard and on brand. Lead a team of two dedicated Internal Comms Managers You Demonstrable excellence in internal communications, ideally experience of delivering communications for remote and harder-to-reach audiences in frontline settings Commercial mindset, ensuring that agenda is positioned within the broader business and wider industry/economic context. Proven track record in working directly with senior stakeholders, providing advice and counsel, with the confidence to influence and negotiate where deliverables and outcomes may be conflicting. Creative ability to design and deliver internal communications content in a simple and engaging way. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees. Experience of using range of multi-media communications tools and packages. Experience in event design and delivery. Resilient and calm. Able to manage an unpredictable workload to meet changing requirements and switch confidently and knowledgeably between priorities.
