Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families. Manage and address challenging behaviours with patience and effective strategies. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes. Empower clients to enhance and maintain their independence whenever possible. Follow care plans carefully and actively contribute to their regular review and adjustments. Transport young people to appointments and various activities as required. Complete daily logs, incident reports, and maintain all necessary paperwork accurately. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children by safeguarding them from harm and promoting a secure environment at all times. What We're Looking For: Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent). Minimum 6-12 months of paid experience in a similar role within the UK is required. Experience in managing challenging behaviours is essential. A compassionate, patient, and caring nature with a genuine passion for supporting others. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team. A proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills. A full UK Driver's License is preferred. Enhanced DBS check (including child and adult checks) is required.
