Job Description:
A brilliant new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager – Eating Disorders to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Stapleton, Bristol area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
This hospital specializes in the treatment of individuals, families, and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting and managing the staff to meet the psychological and therapeutic needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues.
2. Caring and attentive, with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people.
3. Working well in a team, eager to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to report effectively to Senior Management.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in an Eating Disorder setting.
2. Proven track record in managing and leading a Ward team or readiness to step up.
3. Genuine interest in working with this client group within an inpatient setting.
4. Interpersonal qualities to lead, manage, and collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
5. A high level of commitment, creativity, resilience, positivity, personal warmth, motivation, and excellent team-working skills.
The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,667.80 – £51,393 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
