Role Purpose:
Our client is seeking a dedicated General Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations within the office. The client is looking for a proactive individual who can seamlessly manage administrative tasks while offering a warm and welcoming presence at our front desk.
Duties:
1. Warmly greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff upon their arrival.
2. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, ensuring timely and effective communication.
3. Manage and schedule appointments, meetings, and room bookings.
4. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, faxes, and deliveries.
5. Ensure the reception area remains tidy, presentable, and equipped with necessary stationery and materials.
6. Provide administrative support to various departments, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Criteria:
1. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
5. Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred.
6. Professional attitude and appearance.
Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required occasionally based on office events and meetings.
Salary Range: Dependent on experience.
