HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week or 40% of our time in the office.
We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. We’re implementing a new operating model for non-financial risk management across the Group, empowering our people to take end-to-end accountability for managing the risks they face!
This means we’re changing how we do risk management, creating a team of risk specialists to support our risk and control owners in delivering great customer outcomes!
About this opportunity:
We’re seeking a Manager Digital & Distribution to support the head of function in creating a dedicated team of compliance specialists that help the Group adhere to core regulatory requirements related to our digitisation strategy. We want someone with compliance experience who is innovative and transformational, and enjoys working proactively with business leaders to develop new opportunities to meet customer needs.
What you'll be doing:
* Represent the organisation as a specialist Conduct & Compliance Risk manager, building strong relationships with regulators and other external partners.
* Assist the head of function in ensuring risks are measured, monitored, controlled, and reported promptly and consistently across the Group, providing independent challenge to risk decisions.
* Interpret new and existing regulations accurately, highlighting trends and anticipating impacts across the Group.
* Help define and develop control objectives for Conduct & Compliance Risks, ensuring business processes and activities are conducted in a controlled and compliant manner.
* Identify Key Risk Indicators and Key Control Indicators to monitor controls’ performance, reporting to senior management and the Board.
* Support risk and control owners in incident reporting, managing exceptions, and implementing corrective actions when controls are not met or risks change.
Why Lloyds Banking Group?
Join us to make a difference to customers and enjoy a fulfilling career with great colleagues, transforming workspaces, hybrid working, and diverse career opportunities.
What you’ll need:
* Knowledge of digital and mobile customer journeys, psychology, and behavioural economics.
* Ability to challenge and advise platforms such as Consumer Servicing and Colleague Channels.
* Knowledge of RegTech and experience using technology and data-led solutions to improve consumer outcomes.
* Contribute to group-level policy development and risk appetite setting.
* Demonstrated good decision-making skills that balance business strategy and risk considerations.
Useful experience includes:
* Helping the business understand compliance obligations and overseeing adherence to Risk Appetite.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Inclusive working style fostering a safe environment for everyone.
* Track record of delivering results and maintaining documentation for key decisions.
