The DOVE Project are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible Senior Support Worker to join, and lead our team of Care and Support Workers to work with R. My name is R. I am a 52-year-old gentleman with Autism, Learning Disability and other complex needs, living in my own home in Hayle, with 24/7 2:1 support. I require support with meal planning and cooking, personal care, medication, daily living skills, shopping, finances, health appointments and activities. My staff team involve me with my life choices and support me with a person-centred approach. I always wish to be included in decision making about my own life. Senior Support Worker - Being a driver is essential. 40 hours Full Time Hours include evenings, sleep ins and waking nights. The Role The main purpose of the role will be: To support the Management team to deliver exceptional support services in line with The DOVE Project’s Policies & Procedures and best practise To support, motivate and provide guidance to Support staff, ensuring best practice principles are met. To contribute to auditing processes to ensure quality standards are met To act as a positive role model for the service user and the team ensuring consistency, trust and effective communication.
