Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer – 37 hours per week 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm Friday. 40 weeks per year –
(Term time + 4 additional weeks to be worked) Circa £26,000

Are you passionate about safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer to join our SEN Department at Brooklands College., based at our Weybridge campus.
About the role:
In this vital role, as Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, happiness, and
academic success of our students. Your role will also include:
* Implement and monitor effective safeguarding policies and procedures
* Provide support and guidance to students experiencing difficulties, including those with SEN
* Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Deliver training and awareness-raising sessions on safeguarding and wellbeing
* Develop and implement action plans to address identified risks.
To fulfil the role of Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer you will have:
* Experience in a safeguarding or related role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding legislation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Passionate about supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing
