We are looking for experienced and ambitious Customer Service Advisor to join Arriva, based at our Luton Depot.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service to Arriva customers contacting the Customer Service Contact Centre; and ensure that customers receive a prompt, professional, and courteous service.

The role of a Customer Service Advisor will involve:
* Act as the first point of contact for customers needing assistance with Bus enquiries, across telephone, email, live chat, and social media channels.
* Respond to customer enquiries and complaints within the agreed timeframes.
* Consistently meet the Company service targets and standards on all channels.
* Ensure customer enquiries and complaints are answered and resolved in an efficient and professional manner that reflects the Arriva vision and supports first contact resolution.
* Adhere to Company procedures and fully utilise software systems.
* Liaise with other departments where complex issues require their assistance.
* Keep the customer informed and updated of outcomes to investigations and effectively respond to queries and complaints on all channels.
* Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the management team.
Requirements of a Customer Service Advisor:
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to provide excellent customer service in line with the organisational vision and service values.
* Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations in a calm, patient, and effective manner.
* Proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
* Desirable – previous inbound contact centre experience.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Adherence to the Company’s Life Saving Rules.
