Salary – £48,000 to £55,000 per annum plus car allowance
Hours of Work – 37.5 between 8.30am to 5pm
Department – Traffic Management
Travel Requirements – As and when required / Travel will be required to the Head Office in Liverpool as well as across the UK to visit TM Operatives and Partners
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
As MJ Quinn Traffic Management, we provide Design and Traffic Management services to our internal Operations Teams to assist in delivering our collective targets for our clients, Openreach and Netomnia, whilst also supporting any Traffic Management requirements for external clients. The TM Department is part of the MJ Quinn Telecommunication Division.
JOB OBJECTIVE
The Traffic Management Operations Manager holds managerial responsibility for the temporary traffic management measures. The TM Operations Manager also holds the role as Technical Officer and is named in our Contract Specific Quality Plans. The role has responsibility for the installation, modification and removal of temporary traffic management; this person shall be Lantra M7 qualified.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The TM Operations Manager has a range of responsibilities including, monitoring the department to:
* Ensure that resources provided for temporary traffic management are adequate to ensure safe working practices and minimum disruption.
* Ensure that the required numbers of trained card holding RLTMO’s and RTMO’s are in place to satisfactorily meet contractual requirements and in particular carry out the temporary traffic management operations in a controlled and safe manner.
* Ensuring a Method Statement is available for all activities being performed.
* Controlling the Non-conformance process.
* Ensure Internal and External audits are carried out in line with the schedule.
* Ensure we meet the needs of the specification.
* To always promote a positive and professional image of the department and business.
* Have experience of acting as a role model and experience of leading teams.
* Ensuring and promoting safe working practices and following up on any non-conformances.
* Responsible for having clear action plans on any under performance.
* Have experience of developing team members and empowering staff to enhance personal and team performance.
* Be able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
* Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all key stakeholders are kept informed.
* Managing and controlling the attrition of your workforce.
