Job summary
This exciting role in NHSE is for a highly motivated individual to provide senior administrative and secretarial services within the North West Workforce Training & Education Directorate.
As part of the Operations & Oversight Team in the Workforce & Education Strategy (WES) Sub-Directorate, the Executive Assistant will undertake a wide range of administrative and secretarial tasks, supporting senior Leaders, including Deputy Regional Directors. In addition to providing a comprehensive administrative service to senior leaders, they will take personal responsibility for a range of delegated tasks and projects, including support to finance and external governance processes and ad hoc project work.
Main duties of the job
1. PA support to the Deputy Director of Workforce, Education & Strategy
2. PA support to the Deputy Director of Health & Care Education
3. PA support to the Head of Talent & Resourcing
4. Use of Oracle (finance system) to support contracting and commissioning work
5. Secretariat to key meetings

14. Ability to use finance systems to establish new suppliers, process payments, invoices and purchase order numbers (POs), accurately inputting and validating data using a methodical approach.
