They have proven experience and application knowledge in industries including Metals, Automotive, Marine & Ports, Food & Beverage, Energy, Construction Materials, Pulp & Paper, and FMCG. The company delivers value at all stages of manufacturing. Not only do they design and build, but they also support and improve operations.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the design of low and medium voltage power systems
2. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering & Innovation
3. Understanding and capturing client requirements
4. Electrical concept design and definition
5. Detailed design studies and calculations
6. Requirements and functional specifications for bought-out systems and components such as motors, drives, switchboards, transformers, energy storage, and cabling
7. Co-ordination with the Hardware Design team and review of detailed designs produced
8. Maintenance of the Technical Construction File
9. Factory Acceptance Testing
10. Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing
11. Comply with relevant industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards
12. Meet project milestones
13. Promote and contribute to continuous improvement
14. Mentoring of less-experienced engineers
15. Other duties as required
Experience Required:
1. Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
2. Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
3. Very good understanding of low and medium voltage power systems in power generation / power conversion applications
