The Role
As a Q.A. Receiver, you will ensure accurate processing of all products associated with incoming Purchase Orders and Surplus bids. Your responsibilities will also include:
· Evaluate and update pricing and descriptions for items with unknown list or market prices due to age or manufacturer discontinuation.
· Manage daily receiving tasks, including:
- Review assigned Bids or Purchase Orders, noting any additional instructions.
- Verify merchandise conditions, quantities, and discrepancies.
- Accurately receive items into inventory, recording details such as serial numbers, firmware, and revision levels.
- Take clear, multi-angle photos with accurate weight and dimension measurements.
- Report completed Purchase Orders and Bids.
- May be required to complete training in other departments to fulfil the business needs.
About You
Being proficient using computers, and with a high level of accuracy, you will bring your previous inventory management skills to the position, meaning the in-depth training you receive from us will be bolstered by your own knowledge and experience. Furthermore, you will have:
* GCSE Math's and English at grade C or equivalent
* Preferably, some knowledge of industrial automation products
* Preferably, experience using bespoke stock control software
* Strong multi-tasking abilities
* Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and working towards company KPI’s
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Problem-solving skills
* Effective communication abilities
