An exciting opportunity have arisen to join out team at The Elletson Arms, Pilling. We are a rural local pub and dining room catering for large farming community. Our kitchen will be open from 12 am until 20:30 (19:00 Sunday) and we need someone to work 4 or 5 days. We are looking for an experienced Chef / Cook Main tasks include Prepare food from scratch using fresh local ingredients. Place stock orders with suppliers as and when required. Help with the development of menus and help create seasonal specials. Cater to a wide range of dietary needs. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the kitchen and equipment. Maintain a high standard of food preparation, presentation and portion & quality control adhering to shield and local SFBB standards Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy kitchen and be able to work independently and without supervision. Working alongside the Head Chef and covering for his days off you will need to learn the menu and be able to work well under pressure.
