* Secondary SEN support for High Schools in Liverpool
* Multiple roles available
* Long-term opportunities available
* Start date: ASAP
* Competitive rate £85 - £100 per day
Numerous Secondary Schools in Liverpool require Learning Support Assistants on a long-term contract, which are on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday, 8.30-3:30pm). The positions have flexible start dates, with most roles starting as soon as Monday 10th March 2025, with a view to go into school for a trial morning the week before. There is flexibility around these dates as the schools are interested in securing the right support and would rather wait for the right people.
The schools have a range of experienced Senior Managers, Teachers, and Learning Support Staff who have proven experience in ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Asperger’s, and Autistic Spectrum disorders. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference with children in Specialist settings.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.
The schools are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience. You are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience as a Learning Support Assistant, or have current or prior experience as a support/care worker. Ideally, if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable; however, this is not essential. If you have experience within the education sector, whether that be primary, secondary, college, or university, we would like to hear from you!
