Resourcing Services Manager Professional Consultancy Services As a Resourcing Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of work to technical consultative resources both inside and outside of the organisation. This role requires the candidate to effectively plan, schedule and report upon multiple in-flight projects at once, ensuring effective communication, utilisation and resource coverage. You will work closely with the Professional Services department within MSV to ensure proper time and resource management within our Autotask Professional Services Automation system. Ideally, you will be process-oriented, have strong skills in project management/co-ordination and be able to forecast resource allocations and time manage appropriately across a team of technical staff. What the successful Resourcing Services Manager will do: Project Co-ordination: Working closely with customers and technical consultants to deliver successful projects including kick-off, liaison and close-down activities with key stakeholders. Resource Management: Overseeing daily resourcing for Projects and Technical Presales tickets and forecasting future requirements. Resource Scheduling: Ensuring suitable coverage and pre-requisites are in place for works to proceed without hindrance. Capacity Planning: Ensuring appropriate levels of resource and skill coverage to meet the demands of both pre-sales engagements and project deliverables. Workload Management: Managing and monitoring technical consultants workloads for productivity, resource utilisation and overtime. Time logging: Ensuring both internal and external technical consultants are accurately logged against associated projects and tickets within existing Autotask system. Supplier Liaison: Working with third party suppliers and contractors to supplement technical opportunities, ensuring successful project delivery. Process Improvement: Identifying key areas of improvement for delivery processes and engagement workflows. Reviewing and updating project documentation templates. Service Delivery: Act as a bridge between Professional Services and Managed Services to identify potential project works. Project Reports: Creation of weekly project overview reports to advise partners of project statuses. What we want the successful Resourcing Services Manager to have: Prior experience of using Autotask software suite would be greatly beneficial Strong Experience of Project Management / Co-ordination Experience of technical consultancy-based works Comfortable being present in a cross-functional team What the successful Resourcing Services Manager must have: Strong prior experience with the use of service management platforms for the management and tracking of technical resources time Prior experience of liaising with external parties to delivery project-based works on schedule and in budget Excellent organisational and time-management skills Ability to work well within a team environment
