Early Help Family Support Worker (0- 11 years) 37 Hours per week £26,121 Fixed Term contract until March 26 (may be extended subject to funding) Previous applicants welcome to apply We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated Early Help family support worker to support families. You will be working in partnership with children and their families to provide good quality, holistic family support and outreach work as part of a multi-professional team delivering Family hubs services across a locality. The role will include: To promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and families, Develop and deliver high quality learning and play groups, activities and events across the geographical areas which engage targeted children, young people, their families and carers To undertake early help whole family assessments and provide targeted family support, for a range of families across a caseload, some of which are in or below the social care threshold or who have been transitioned from the statutory system. To pro-actively engage and build effective working relationships with a range of agencies as part of an integrated approach to supporting families, building resilience, delivering sustainable change and encouraging access to local early help services. To be successful in this role you will: Have experience of working with children, young people, their families and carers and of assessing needs and providing emotional and practical support to children, young people, their families and carers is essential. You must have a relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in an appropriate field related to Social Care, Education, Health, Early Years, Youth or Community Work and a commitment to further develop knowledge and skills relevant to the post through training and development opportunities.
