Bored in your current role? This is the chance for you to jump into a site that has been stuck in the same cycle for years and are looking for a fresh pair of eyes to implement new systems, processes and re-engage a site under new leadership.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be at the forefront of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. No direct reports, but you’ll be the H&S authority on site, working across departments to foster a proactive, engaged safety culture and drive improvements in every area.
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinating with teams across departments to embed Health, Safety, and Environmental practices into daily operations.
Spending most of your time on the production floor, supporting and promoting a culture of safety through 5S Lean Techniques and ongoing coaching.
Managing the EHS standards, including ISO 14001 and 45001, to keep compliant and focused on best practices.
Leading safety-focused projects, delivering EHS training, and supporting the management team with legal compliance and specific site initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience with ISO 45001/14001 and strong auditing skills.
NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) and ideally a NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety.
Experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment—food industry experience preferred.
Leadership, clear communication, and team collaboration skills that help drive initiatives forward.
A proactive and organised approach—you know how to prioritize, adapt, and ensure quality at every level.
