What you will do:
* Take a leading role in the advanced assessment, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of patients within the orthopaedic speciality. These patients may present complex or chronic conditions and may be located in A&E or the wards.
* Use your highly specialist physiotherapy knowledge and skills to manage a complex caseload as an autonomous practitioner.
* Ensure a comprehensive in-service training programme is provided to all team members to maintain clinical competency.
* Act as a specialist resource for the multi-disciplinary team and Physiotherapists within Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
* Collaborate with the MDT to develop, monitor, and evaluate the specialist service, enhancing patient pathways in line with national guidelines.
* Serve as the physiotherapy co-ordinator and link for clinical specialism, ensuring excellent management of patients throughout their care journey.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you must be HCPC registered with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant specialism. While not essential, a driving licence is preferable to enable access across various sites.
