Job Summary:
Groundwork South and North Tyneside has been Changing Places and Changing Lives for over 30 years through a variety of environmental, learning, health and skills programmes.
At Jarrow Hall, we offer immersive education experiences, helping pupils to connect with local and national history. Our core offer to schools focuses on Anglo-Saxon history and is based around our reconstruction farm, buildings, and Bede Museum. We are proud holders of the Sandford Award, recognising quality heritage education.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about medieval history and skilled in transferring that knowledge to pupils aged 8-11. They will also contribute to ongoing evaluation, development, and promotion of our education offer and will be required to supervise volunteers.
