About the Role The Procurement and Operations Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing operational procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and productivity of fleet management and other operational supplies. The role will ensure that the inventory levels including fleet will be proactively managed to ensure a continuous supply of quality equipment and materials pre-empting requirements and planning accordingly to support revenue growth and operational efficiency. Main Responsibilities To provide a system, procedures, standards, measures, and reporting which manage evidence the efficient management of the function and which comply with the Franchise Agreement, Operating Manual, statutory laws and regulations minimising the risk of breaches and damage to the GreenThumb brand. Work in collaboration with stakeholders developing proactive relationships in particular, with the supply chain resulting in commercially advantageous terms and cost of supply. Develop proactive and productive relationships with all stakeholders ensuring all problems are resolved in a timely manner and communication is effective. Approach all problems and challenges with a solutions focus aiming for a first time fix, identify gaps and provide solutions to remedy gaps avoiding repeat problems. Negotiate supply agreements which are beneficial to the franchisor and which benefit franchise partners with provisions at below market rate or which carry other market advantageous benefits for franchise partners. Leverage supply partner relationships resulting in additional benefits including the provision of training, recorded communications and sponsorships which result in the increased use of recommended suppliers delivering increased revenue contribution/cost reduction and income streams for the franchisor. Manage and coordinate the activities of the operations department, including fleet management for GreenThumb franchise network. Develop and implement operational policies and operating manual procedures in line with the Franchise Agreement to ensure productivity of fleet management and procurement processes. Monitor and analyse departmental performance metrics, SLAs and KPIs and implement necessary changes to improve operational performance. Supervise staff members, providing guidance, support, training programs and development opportunities to ensure those roles perform effectively Conduct regular performance reviews with staff including documented quarterly performance reviews and annual reviews and provide feedback to improve performance and recognise achievements. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure the availability of necessary supplies and materials. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to fleet management and procurement. Proactively manage and oversee the procurement of products ordered by the GreenThumb franchise network. Provide franchise fleet consultation and guidance to franchise owners to ensure their fleet and operations are optimized and cost effective. Onboard franchise owners to new products and services and systems and onboard new franchise owners ensuring a smooth adoption for all supplies. Candidate Profile Ability to proactively and efficiently manage fleet. Ability to use fleet management systems/software. Ability to use inventory management software. Knowledge and understanding of the risks associated with fleet management and maintenance. Commercial awareness. Understanding of the franchisor/franchisee relationship. Able to interpret the Franchise Agreement and align the Operating Manual. Supervisory and people management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Numerate, able to analyse and interpret data. General IT and Systems Skills Strong time management able to plan, organise, meet deadlines.
