They have a very innovative approach to the industry and continue to grow each year, especially in these specific areas: Ecommerce, 3PL Retail, FMCG, Industrial, Aerospace, Electronics, Healthcare, and Automotive industries. The company is now seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the business in the above marketplace.

£28,000 - £33,000 DOE + commission/bonus (OTE £40,000/£45,000) plus hybrid car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank, health cash plan, 5-6% matched pension, laptop, mobile
Location: Luton
This role will include some office work, but with travel due to the nature of the position. This opportunity is available due to an increase in workload and growth. Your day-to-day duties will be based around business development, where you will create new opportunities for the company to increase its clientele, in addition to managing the customers that you bring on.
Responsibilities Include:
* You will have proven experience in developing and winning new business in the UK, as well as the ability to manage a budget target of £1.5 - £2 million worth of business.
* You will be driven to succeed and will also have the ability to work with a highly effective sales support team to maximize the service of the company.
* Be able to deal with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation, and commercial follow-up of UK customers, branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organization.
* You will be able to manage your time and diary effectively to achieve set KPIs.
* You will be working with internal stakeholders on an international scale to ensure a smooth transition through the sales process.
* Promote the company and its business.
Essential:
* A good understanding of Microsoft Office Software.
* Strong account management and new business skills.
* Sound experience in a sales environment is key, ideally from the following industries: Packaging, FMCG, Distribution, or other relevant industry.
* Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
* Experience in closing and negotiation techniques.
* Adaptable and flexible in managing workload.
